This policy explains what information Junior (heyjunior.ai, operated by Junior Labs LLC) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: support@heyjunior.ai.

1. The short version

• Junior runs on your own computer. Your LinkedIn password is typed into a browser on your machine and is not sent to us.
• We store your account, your Junior settings, and a record of the comments Junior posts so we can run the service, show your dashboard and bill usage.
• Text Junior writes is generated with Google's AI models on Google Cloud.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information you give us

• Account: email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Junior settings: the bio, goals, tone, search terms, target companies and people, and company page details you enter so Junior can find posts and write comments.
• Signup form: if you type your email on the signup page but don't finish, we keep it and may send you one reminder email with a link to finish signing up.
• Support: anything you send us by email.
• Try-it demo: the post and background you paste into a demo are sent to our servers to generate a sample comment.

3. Information created when you use Junior

• Comments and replies Junior drafts or posts, the posts they were written for, and counts such as comments, reactions, replies and connection requests. These power your dashboard, Run Insights and usage billing.
• Basic app diagnostics, such as app version, operating system and error reports, so we can fix problems.

4. Your LinkedIn account

The Junior desktop app opens a browser on your computer and you sign in to LinkedIn there yourself. Your LinkedIn session stays on your computer. Junior reads and posts to LinkedIn through that browser, at the pace and limits you set. See our Terms of Service for the risks of using automation with LinkedIn.

5. Website analytics, cookies and pixels

• First-party analytics: our site records page views and button clicks, the campaign or link you came from, and a random ID kept in your browser's storage. We use this to understand which pages help people sign up.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics: privacy-focused, aggregate traffic statistics.
• Reddit Pixel: on some signup pages, to measure Reddit ads.
• You can block cookies, local storage and third-party scripts in your browser. The site still works.

6. How we use information

• To provide Junior: find posts, write and post comments, draft replies and show your results.
• To run your account and billing, and to send service emails such as receipts, trial reminders and password resets.
• To improve Junior and our website, and to keep the service secure.
• To send occasional product emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.

7. Who we share it with

We share information only with providers that help us run Junior, under their own privacy and security terms:

• Stripe (payments and billing)
• Google Cloud, including Vertex AI (hosting, database and AI text generation)
• Postmark (email delivery)
• Cloudflare (website delivery and analytics)
• Reddit (ad measurement on some pages)

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards for billing, legal and security needs. To delete your account and data, email support@heyjunior.ai from your account email.

9. Your choices and rights

You can update your Junior settings in the app, manage billing in the billing portal, and unsubscribe from marketing emails. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information. Email us and we will respond.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

11. Children

Junior is for professionals and is not directed to children under 16.

12. Changes

If we make material changes we will update this page and the effective date above.
